Watching this was easily the best 10 minutes of my day today.
It is pretty mesmerizing to see the absolute chaos that comes from such a tiny little bullet. I like the ballistics gel shots the best.

This has to be one of the first “CAD Demonstrations” in history, and it is pretty amazing what could be done with 1963 computer technology (actually the rig they are on was built in 1958, predating the microchip). From the description, this video depicts:

In an effort to become ever more lazy, I am checking out the Wordpress app for iPhone. It appears that I can now post this article while laying in bed, even though my computer is not more than 5 feet away. Sweet!

Today was the day that many are hoping marks a whole new chapter in American history. Whether there is anything to materialize behind that hope is yet to be seen, but I think the hope itself is a nice change.
