I am still very much in the early stages of what I want to do with this here site, but I figure it might help get myself motivated to start writing.

With that in mind, take a look at this:

BMW says in its press release:

GINA (Geometry and Functions In “N” Adaptions) principle grants more freedom for car design. It allows the creation of products with a design and functional range that express individuality and meet the wide variety of requirements of those who are using them.

While a concept car like this is obviously not going to be put into production, I hope they intend to use GINA for development, not just as a PR stunt.  As far as I know, the industry standard is to use full-size clay models for finishing touches on prototypes.  I imagine something like GINA could make that process a bit easier.  Not to mention it is just plain cool.
